I have two kids who are transplant recipients, require IEPs, speech and OT therapy. There are behavioral and mental health issues for one so several people are involved with us including a couple of therapists and a couple of PhDs. I’ve built a strong support system so I can keep my sanity. Dad to the kids is Julian (I refer to him as J-man a lot for some reason) and we’re working on 16 years of marriage. It’s not the life we pictured for sure. It’s hard sometimes to always be strong and on top of things because I have to be but I don’t always feel so capable.
